Employee engagement surveys

Our aim is to deliver insight and understanding, for our clients, into the drivers behind employee engagement and motivation. Research into employee engagement has identified eight typical drivers for engagement, these are:

'A heightened emotional connection that an employee feels for his or her organisation, that influences him or her to exert greater discretionary effort to his or her work'

Employee engagement

  • Trust and integrity - How well managers communicate.
  • Nature of the job - Is the job interesting?
  • Line of sight between employee performance and company performance - Does the employee understand how their work contributes to the company's performance?
  • Career progression - Are there clear opportunities?
  • Pride about the company - How much self-esteem does the employee feel by being associated with their company?
  • Coworkers/team members - This significantly influences one's level of engagement.
  • Employee development - Is the company making an effort to develop the employee's skills?
  • Relationship with one's manager - Does the employee value his or her relationship with his or her manager?

Based around these eight engagement drivers we have devised an engagement questionnaire utilising a series of tried and tested questions. Key drivers of engagement have been identified by analysing the results from surveys conudcted over the last 3 years. This questionnaire can be used 'as is' or 'modified' to meet specific client requirements.

Our employee engagement report is designed to provide top level Senior Management feedback identifying those organisational drivers behind engagement. The questions and scales used within this online survey have been fully validated, tried and tested, the information collected from the engagement survey will be topical, current and help you identify action areas that will help drive up engagement.

In addition, local level analysis is conducted so that Senior Managers can take action at both corporate and local level to ensure improvement in engagement scores.
