Employee survey benchmarking - your survey data in context

Without benchmarks, it would be easy to misinterpret survey results or misdirect your survey follow-up activities. By using our benchmark database, you can draw accurate conclusions from your survey data. The benchmark data puts survey results into context, allowing you to compare your data against other organisations. We ensure that our database is kept up to date and current, using data from surveys that have been conducted within the past three years.

Our benchmark database comprises of over 150 normative questions. These core questions form the basis of the majority of surveys we undertake on behalf of our clients. In addition, we have a number of additional questions that are company or industry specific for which we can also supply benchmarking data.

When conducting a survey on behalf of a client, as part of the survey planning process we discuss and agree the external benchmarking requirements. We then develop a question set that takes these benchmarking requirements into account. When reporting on survey data we provide clear comparisons against our external benchmark scores, in addition to any internal benchmarking requirements.

The most important Benchmark - your internal benchmark

Benchmark example

It is vital to be able to put your survey results into context. However, for most organisations, the most important benchmark is their survey-on-survey benchmark scores.

We work closely with our clients to ensure that scores can be tracked and monitored over time, thus ensuring that our clients can measure the effects of any action taken as a result of conducting a survey.

If you would like to understand more about our benchmarking or would like to discuss your benchmarking requirements in further detail, please contact us.
