“Float Like A Butterfly, Sting Like A Bee” – Muhammed Ali

MuhammedMany people have been saddened by the loss of one of the world’s most charismatic, significant and celebrated sportsmen – Muhammed Ali.

There is no doubt that Ali was one of the world’s greatest boxers of all time and he lived an extraordinary life.

What certainly comes across about Ali, from his successes inside and outside the ring is that he was a high achiever.

“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life” – Muhammed Ali.

So what was it about Ali? What makes many successful people such high achievers in their careers and personal lives?

Here, we offer up a few tips on how to be a high achiever:-

Have big dreams

High achievers are not frightened to have big dreams – imagination has no limits. Once you have set your ultimate goals, make sure you set out clear steps to get there.

Be yourself

Stop trying to be somebody you’re not. Be yourself at all times and set about becoming the best version of you that you can be.

Believe in yourself

People will always talk about you, you’re probably not worth much if they don’t. Be sure to hold firm what you know to be true and what you believe.

Accept failure

Any successful person will have come up against failure at some point. Learn from failures, don’t dwell on them, move on and find other ways of getting where you want to go.

Embrace challenge

Remember, anything worthwhile is difficult to attain. Try to look at challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. Hard work and dedication will be worth your effort in the end.

Finally, let go

You can’t change everything. Try to let go of what you can’t change and remember, if you persist in trying to change what you can’t, it will ultimately change you.
